Contacting the Process Server Certification Department

Email is the best way to contact the JBCC, as we are unable to accommodate walk-in Customers. Staff can schedule appointments for virtual calls/Zoom meetings for further assistance.

In your email, please include your name and contact information and a subject line that identifies the topic of the email (example “Registration Transaction #12345”).  

Attach any documents that are needed, but please do not submit documents by way of external links to a cloud service such as OneDrive or Google Drive.

JBCC Online Certification, Registration & Licensing System 

Using our online system, called ALiS, you are able apply for and renew licenses, certificates, and registrations, pay related fees, apply for CE approval, see a list of CE cases, and check the status of your applications. Members of the public can search for individuals or entities who are certified, licensed, or registered with the JBCC.

Online System Resources

When submitting applications associated with fees, you will be charged a transaction fee based on the amount of the fee that is due.  
 
Course Providers and licensees must have a user profile to use the online system; members of the public do not need a user profile.

Service During Governmental Operations or Procedures

Under section 8.7 of the JBCC Rules, a certified process server must not serve citation or other civil process in person on a member, officer, employee of the senate of the house of representatives during any legislative proceeding. In accordance with section 30.0035 of the Civil Practice and Remedies Code, the certification of a process server who violates this subsection must be revoked.
